An investment in performance — not simply a staffing cost.
We price around the product, event, team, logistics, risk and commercial opportunity — not a generic staffing rate. You receive a clear written scope, measurable targets and a model built for the work that actually needs doing.

Why there is no generic rate card
Two events can need the same number of people — and require completely different work.
One brand may need a two-person team for a proven product with a simple demonstration. Another may need commercial modelling, recruitment, detailed product training, travel, stock control, card payments, daily management, logistics and a complete post-event report.
Quoting a single headline day rate before understanding that difference would not be transparent. We first establish what success looks like, what the event must generate and which responsibilities sit with each party. Then we recommend the most sensible commercial structure.

Our commercial models
Four flexible ways to work together.
The recommended model depends on the objective, product economics, level of operational control and how clearly success can be measured.
Defined scope
Fixed fee or day rate
A clear price for agreed work, people, dates and deliverables. This is often the most straightforward choice when the outcome is not purely direct sales.
Best for: training, lead generation, trade shows, short activations, logistics and clearly defined event support.
Known cost before delivery begins
Scope, inclusions and exclusions confirmed in writing
An agreed delivery structure with part of our return connected to measurable performance. It keeps the practical delivery funded while aligning both sides around the commercial result.
Best for: consumer events and retail activations with clear sales targets, reliable margins and meaningful on-site control.
Commercial targets agreed before the event
Can combine a base delivery fee with a result component
A tailored agreement for several events, retail locations, trade shows or a wider activation calendar, with consistent planning, training and reporting.
Best for: brands that want a repeatable sales model, one accountable partner and learning that carries from one activation to the next.
One commercial framework across multiple activations
Important: performance-linked and profit-share options depend on product fit, gross margin, audience, stock availability, measurable outcomes, operational control and agreed terms. We will not recommend a model that the numbers cannot support.

What affects your quote
Event staffing cost is only one part of the real delivery.
A useful quote accounts for every responsibility needed to turn up prepared, operate professionally and measure the result.
01 · Event
Dates, hours and location
Event length, build windows, travel distance, accommodation, access restrictions and unsociable hours all affect delivery.
02 · Team
Number and level of staff
Team size, experience, specialist knowledge, management cover, breaks and expected sales capacity shape the resource plan.
Collection, transport, setup, card terminals, samples, stock checks, storage, breakdown and returns may form part of the scope.
05 · Economics
Margin and achievable revenue
Average order value, unit margin, conversion potential, audience quality and expected footfall influence whether performance pricing is viable.
06 · Accountability
Management and reporting
On-site leadership, hourly targets, live coaching, data capture, reconciliation and post-event analysis create a more complete service.

Suggested starting point
Performance-linked partnership
A sales-led activation with clear product economics may support a structure that funds practical delivery and links part of our return to agreed results.
Model break-even and realistic sales capacity first
Agree which KPIs affect the performance element
Document stock, payment and reporting responsibilities
What your proposal can include — and what must be identified separately.
No vague promises. The written proposal sets out the people, preparation, delivery, responsibilities, commercial model and payment terms.

How the money flows
Simple structures, documented before the event.
The exact calculation sits in your agreement. These illustrations show the basic logic — not a promise of a particular financial outcome.
Fixed fee
1Agree people, preparation, dates and deliverables
2Confirm one written price and payment schedule
3Deliver and report against the agreed scope
Performance-linked
1Fund the agreed practical delivery
2Measure agreed revenue or commercial KPIs
3Apply the documented performance component
Profit share
1Record event sales and agreed direct costs
2Recover costs using the agreed definition
3Divide remaining profit using the agreed split
Shared accountabilityCommercial alignment works best when the opportunity is real.
We assess the product, audience and numbers before offering a performance-based or profit-share structure.
More than staffingYou are paying for preparation, management and a measurable sales process.
The goal is not simply to fill a shift. It is to give the event the strongest practical chance of performing.
Event sales pricing FAQs
Clear answers before you request a quote.
These are the questions brands most often ask about day rates, commission, profit share, travel, logistics and what is included.
How much does an event sales team cost in the UK?+
The cost depends on the event length, team size, preparation, training, travel, accommodation, management, logistics and commercial model. We provide a written quotation after reviewing the product, audience, margins, objectives and realistic event opportunity. This is more accurate than advertising a generic staffing rate that may exclude the work needed before and after the event.
Do you charge a day rate?+
Yes. Fixed fees and day rates can be used for clearly defined sales, lead-generation, training, trade show, logistics or activation work. Where the economics and responsibilities are suitable, we can also consider performance-linked or profit-share structures.
Do you offer commission-only event sales teams?+
We do not treat commission-only as the automatic answer. Events require preparation, recruitment, training, travel, management and reporting before revenue is known. A performance-linked model may combine funded delivery with an agreed variable component. A full profit-share partnership may be possible when the opportunity can support it.
How does a profit-share event partnership work?+
We agree which direct costs are recovered, how revenue is collected, how discounts, refunds, card fees and stock are treated, how profit is calculated and when settlement takes place. The remaining profit is then shared using the agreed percentage. Every element is documented before the event.
What is normally included in an event sales quote?+
A quote can include commercial planning, team selection, product training, rotas, on-site management, live KPI tracking and post-event reporting. Travel, accommodation, logistics, organiser costs, card fees and specialist services are either included clearly or shown separately.
Are travel and accommodation included?+
That depends on the event and proposal. We show travel, mileage, parking and accommodation clearly so you can see the real delivery cost. For repeat programmes, we can plan teams and locations to reduce unnecessary travel where practical.
Can logistics and stand setup be bundled with the sales team?+
Yes. We can combine collection, transport, suitable stand setup, stock organisation, breakdown and return with the sales service. The scope, timings, insurance position and exclusions are agreed before anything is collected. Standalone logistics packages currently start from £499, subject to quotation.
Do you work with one-off events and longer programmes?+
Yes. We can support a single consumer show, trade show or retail activation, or build a repeatable programme across several events and locations. Longer programmes can use consistent training, management, reporting and commercial review.
How quickly can I get a proposal?+
Send the event name, dates, location, product, retail price, approximate margin, objectives, expected team size and any logistics requirements. We can then identify missing information and prepare a proposal based on the actual scope rather than assumptions.
